WELCOME TO MY SITE
Hello, my name is Ryan Thorp and have I been studying and practicing graphic design for the past decade. My interest in Graphic Design began in 2007 while attending the Waterbury Arts Magnet School, where I was originally accepted for fine art. Afterwards, I continued my education in design and graduated from Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) in New Britain, CT with both my Bachelors (2014) and my Masters (2015) in Graphic Design related fields. I expanded my knowledge of design further into Environmental and Signage graphics during graduate school while focusing on Wayfinding. Since 2016, I have held the position of Graphic Designer for Legrand, North & Central America's Central Marketing department, where I work on internal and externally facing projects focused on branding.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, visiting local breweries and traveling. Send me a message if you ever want to chat or need consultation on a project.
