Client: Ryan Thorp & Central Connecticut State University
Background: This Project involves research to provide insight into the area of Environmental Graphic Design (EGD) known as ‘Wayfinding’; A part of this research involves pictograms and infographics devoted to this important topic. The information in this project is presented in two subject areas: A) History: A history of events and their significance; and B) Regarding Wayfinding: Research and project development.
“To become completely lost is perhaps a rather rare experience for most people in the modern city. We are supported by prescence of others and by special way-finding devices: maps, street numbers, route signs, bus placards...”

This Graphic Standards Manual served as a large piece of inspiration moving forward with my thesis.
